The internet was starting to be interesting to the public. There were no smart phones, tablets or even iPods. Yes, we need specific information and we learn a lot from pertinent copy, but visible representation is much more intuitive. Our best websites are those with excellent photos and graphic art. As designers, we just need to display all of it in a logical format to fulfill the objective of the website. These visual elements are the best tools we have to educate, promote, and inform visitors to our sites.
